Trickett's Grove New Zealand Walnuts
  • Summer

  • The walnuts are developing within the hull. Our trees need plenty of water now to produce lovely large nuts. Pickling walnuts are collected just after Christmas.
  • Autumn

  • It's harvest time! From March to May we're collecting walnuts as they fall to the ground - sometimes with a little encouragement!
  • Winter

  • Our trees are dormant but we are not! While the trees are storing energy for next year's crop, we are busy pruning to give them as much light as possible.
  • SPRING

  • New growth is starting, and the tiny walnut blossoms produce pollen that is spread from one tree to the next on the wind.
